- How the project started (if you could even call it that)
I've been thinking about translating songs
for a long time, but I haven't found a suitable
website for this. I previously planned to use this
one as a dumpster for my artworks. Due to the
limitations of the free hosting version and my
unwillingness to pay 200+ UAH per month,
it didn't work out.
When I was looking for translations, for example,
of Skinny Puppy, I only found machine translations,
and only in Russian. There are almost no translations
of any unpopular songs from Ukrainian to English.
I decided that if no one else was doing this,
then I would fill this niche.
I started translating and transcribing out of boredom.
- Style of pages
The background is black so that being on the site
doesn't burn the eyes of visitors or me, because I've been
working on it for like three days in a row (as of 03.07.26).
The main sections are blue, because this color is
well pronounced in most types of color blindness.
The sub sections are light gray to at least somehow
highlight them without making the entire site blue.
Uncreated pages are dark gray because white
color of the finished pages stands out more
against their background.
The site has a strange and uniform formatting
because I like coding, but I wouldn't say I know how to do it.

Вже давно обдумував займатись перекладом пісень,
але підходящого сайту для цього не знайшов.
Цей я раніше планував використовувати як смітник
зі своєю творчістю. По причині обмежень безплатної
версії хостингу та мого небажання платити 200+ грн
в місяць, це нікуди не зайшло.
Коли шукав переклади, наприклад, Skinny Puppy,
знаходив тільки машинний, так ще й російською.
Перекладів будь-яких не популярних пісень з української
на англійську взагалі майже нема.
Вирішив, що якщо ніхто таким ще не займається,
то цю нішу заповню я.
Перекладом та транскрибуванням я взагалі почав займатись
від нудьги.
- Стилістика сторінок
Тло чорне, щоб перебування на сайті не виїдало очі
ні відвідувачам, ні мені, бо я над ним сиджу вже
як три дні поспіль (на момент 03.07.26).
Основні розділи - блакитні, бо цей колір розрізнають +-
при всіх видах дальтонізму.
Підрозділи - світло-сірі, щоб хоч якось їх виділяти
без того, щоб весь сайт був блакитним.
Не створені сторінки - темно-сірі, бо білий колір готових
сторінок більше виділяється на їх фоні.
Сайт має дивне і однотипове форматування, бо я люблю
кодити, але не сказав би, що вмію цього робити.
