Band history
Yurii Konko and Volodymyr Shelchuk started Korba band in early 2020s,
starting with small local concerts, later moving to clubs and
tours around Ukraine.
"Even before the band was created, we often went to Franyk
(Ivano-Frankivsk): we played on the streets, sat at local spots like
“Bludu”, where we also met local musicians, crossed paths with local
bands through acquaintances."
"...I met Vova while we were playing together in a park in Rivne. After
a while, thoughts like "we need to create a band" came by themselves.
At first, we wrote for ourselves, played for friends, then the bassist
himself found us and invited the drummer, but now we have an
updated lineup: a new bassist Oleksiy and drummer Sofia. Little
by little, we gave concerts and learned from our own mistakes.

Group released their first single "Неук" in 2022, which quickly gained
popularity. Korba regularly gives concerts and releases new music a
few times a year.
